Barcelona 4th city in the ranking of best cities to relocate!

[/vc_column_text][ultimate_spacer height=”40″][vc_column_text]Despite the interest to relocate abroad has dropped since 2014, Barcelona is going higher in the ranking of best cities to relocate. The Boston Consulting Group and the international online recruitment company The Network have teamed up to create one of the largest surveys of labor trends and job preferences: 366,000 people in 197 countries.

This survey summarizes that

London is where workers abroad want to be, according to a new survey.

More than a fifth of respondents said that the capital of the United Kingdom was their preferred destination.

New York came in second with 16%, and Berlin and Barcelona were third and fourth, both with 15%. In eighth place came Paris.

Employees will choose where to move based on cultural opportunities and the standard of living offered.

When it comes to quality of life, a different ranking places Vienna, Zurich, Auckland, Munich and Vancouver in the first places.

Abu Dhabi and Hong Kong have also risen in rank over the past four years.

The dominance of London occurs despite a general decline in the attractiveness of the United Kingdom. Before the Brexit vote, the United Kingdom was the main European destination for foreign workers.

It is now in fifth place, behind Germany, and less popular than the United States, Canada and Australia.

Uncertainty about Brexit in the United Kingdom, along with stricter immigration controls in the United States and elsewhere, may be partly responsible for the fact that people in general are less interested in moving abroad for reasons of work.

Although more than half of the respondents said that they would be moving abroad for work reasons, this is noticeably less than the result of the survey four years ago.
